## Description

Language Services Associates is seeking American Sign Language interpreters in the Richmond, VA area. As a member of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in various settings.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service

- Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality

- Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices

- Meet clearance requirements as requested by clients

- Arrive on-site for accepted assignments in a timely manner

- Have access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience:

- Associate or bachelor's degree

- RID certification

- State interpreting licensure (if applicable)

- Fluency in English and American Sign Language
