## Description

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team, reporting into our Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of the month-end close process, tax and statutory reporting, and other financial accounting and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing the general ledger, including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations

- Production of IFRS consolidated results and standalone financial statements

- Ensuring the Group's financial accounting and reporting remains compliant with relevant accounting standards

- Preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements

- Liaising with external auditors, bank managers, ONS, and tax specialists

- Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives

- Proactively identifying new initiatives that could benefit the organisation

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an accounting role, experience within a Chartered Accounting firm, and exposure to working with the APAC region. Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills, and excellent communication skills are also required.
