## Description

WSP Solutions Appliquées is seeking a Water Treatment and Operations Technician to join their team in Montréal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems and equipment, as well as participating in the installation and fabrication of equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the proper functioning of mechanical equipment and meeting project performance expectations

- Operating and maintaining water, air, and soil treatment equipment according to maintenance schedules

- Participating in equipment installation and fabrication

- Providing support to other technicians as needed

- Performing various manual tasks such as plumbing, electro-mechanical work, and instrumentation

- Sampling raw and treated water

- Contributing to continuous improvement of operation and maintenance procedures

- Supervising subcontractors associated with operation and maintenance activities

- Optimizing processes and reducing costs

- Collecting and compiling relevant technical data

- Completing follow-up forms and writing activity reports

The ideal candidate will have:

- AEC or DEP in Water Treatment, Electromechanical, or a related field

- 3-7 years of experience

- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

- Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems

- Familiarity with automation and remote control systems is considered an asset

- ASP Construction certification for construction site safety

- Autonomy, reliability, and organisational skills

- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel software

- Valid driver's license
