## Description

We are seeking a MedTech RN Clinical Educator to join our team. As a MedTech RN Clinical Educator, you will have a unique opportunity to employ your clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology.

You will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses on medical devices primarily used for infusion therapies.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on the Alaris Infusion Pump

- Primary focus will be in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities or bedside care responsibilities

- Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience

- Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the product

- Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to the client during and after in-serving assignments as required

- Per diem position requiring regular national travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule

**Schedule:**

- Min Available for an average of 3-4 assignments per month, ranging 3-5 days per assignment

- Training for this role will be provided and is paid.

**Required Qualifications:**

- RN degree – Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license required

- Preferred 3-5 years' experience in a hospital setting; previous experience with the Alaris pump preferred

- Previous experience in Emergency, Critical Care or Oncology specialties or infusion centers preferred

- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) helpful but not required

- Strong business acumen

- Ability to work autonomously

- Must be comfortable with basic software programs

- Ability to travel locally regionally and nationally

- Desire to expand personal talent in clinical education

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

**Travel Requirement:**

- Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

- Driving is considered a business requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.

- Located within 1 hour of a major airport.

- Travel, and your time traveling is paid.

**Benefits:**

**Vaccine/Immunization/Hospital Credentialing Requirement:**

- A required function of this job requires individuals to enter various healthcare facilities. Thus, upon selection, individuals must complete healthcare facility credentialing process. To obtain credentials, individuals must meet the immunization requirements specified by the facility.
