## Description

You know what makes a good theatre team: preparation, trust and colleagues you can depend on. Your next role should offer that, alongside surgery that keeps you interested and opportunities to develop.

At The London Clinic, you will bring your scrub experience to a service spanning 10 theatres. Our surgical programme includes Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Plastics, ENT, Ophthalmology and Cancer Services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and checking instruments, equipment and supplies for surgery

- Delivering scrub practice across specialties, maintaining aseptic technique and anticipating procedural requirements

- Contributing to WHO safety checks, accurate records and clear communication throughout each procedure

- Supporting students and colleagues as they develop their skills

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC or HCPC registration and previous scrub experience in an acute hospital. You should have:

- Strong knowledge of surgical safety, infection prevention and aseptic practice

- Confidence in anticipating requirements and responding to changing situations

- Clear communication and a calm, organised approach

- A willingness to share knowledge and continue learning

In return, we offer:

- Surgical First Assistant course opportunities

- Learning alongside experienced theatre practitioners and specialist consultants

- Opportunities to support students and new colleagues, building your mentoring skills

- No night shifts

- Private medical cover after probation

- Matched pension contributions

- Life cover worth four times your salary
