## Description

As a Senior Area Manager for the Philippines at Agoda, you will act as team lead of the region, managing a team of account managers and understanding market gaps to ensure best-in-class supply quality and growing Agoda's footprint in the region.

Responsibilities:

- Act as team lead of the region

- Help build a strategy to increase Agoda's footprint in the region

- Coordinate with senior management on strategic planning and objectives

- Conduct market research into industry trends and market competitiveness

- Represent the company at tradeshows, workshops, and events

- Develop and own relationships with key decision makers at hotels, technology partners, and other relevant partners

- Ensure best-in-class supply quality

- Build a 360-degree vision of supply quality in the region and create a plan to address gaps

- Lead a team of market managers in managing successful hotel partnerships

- Support market managers in partner visits

- Develop tools and processes to improve team productivity and efficiency

- Implement strategies and promotional activities with partners

- Develop a high-performing team

- Assist in recruitment and coaching of team members

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred

- 5-10 years of sales experience in a fast-growing global travel/e-commerce company

- Minimum 3 years of experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles

- Strong Excel and data visualization skills

- Analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data to make decisions

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to report and persuade different levels of management

- Professional 'get it done' attitude and work ethic

- Adaptability and enthusiasm for change
