## Description

We are seeking a Head of IT Document Products to join our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the adoption, product roadmap, information governance, and working practices for our document management system, NetDocuments, and other associated applications.

The role involves understanding all aspects of how the firm uses and works with documents across regions, practices, and support functions. The ideal candidate will have a legal industry background, experience of delivering business change and embedding adoption of new technology, processes, and services, and the ability to operate at a senior level.

Key responsibilities include:

- Defining the vision and roadmap for the firm's Document Products

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key business and technology stakeholders

- Forming a strategic relationship with vendors

- Understanding the competitor landscape and representing the needs of our users at vendor-led product development and user experience workshops

- Being the change agent for NetDocuments and other associated applications, and Information Governance

- Owning the maintenance, bug fixing, and product backlog plans

- Being a subject matter expert in NetDocuments and other applications

- Taking an active role in understanding and communicating implications of data retention, data residency, and the constraints of jurisdictional legislation and client expectations

The role requires a range of skills and experience, including:

- A legal industry background

- Experience of delivering business change and embedding adoption of new technology, processes, and services

- The ability to operate at a senior level and interface with partners and senior business leaders

- Good commercial acumen and vendor management

- Experience of a product development lifecycle

- Experience of Information or Data Governance

- Leadership experience
