## Description

Come and be part of the future of engineering and maintenance operations within Biffa. As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in driving plant availability by ensuring all planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, engineering, and process improvements are carried out and implemented in a timely manner.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Providing high operational availability and an efficient breakdown repair service.Ε diagnose running faults and ensure effective repairs and improvements are conducted within minimum timescales.

- Developing and implementing a programme of planned preventative maintenance and inspection to minimise downtime, provide records of recurrent faulting, and develop engineered solutions to these issues.

- Carrying out minor maintenance operations to plant and equipment.

- Liaising with external contractors on specific repairs/maintenance work.

- Keeping abreast of changes to health & safety and environmental legislation and company policies to ensure defined standards and best practice are implemented.
