## Description

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef (Western Cuisine) to join our team at Disney's Hong Kong location.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing on-the-job training

- Resourcefully solve issues and seize control of problematic situations

- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards

- Promote teamwork and flawless interaction between kitchens/outlet teams

- Supervise and organize kitchen activities in a hygienic and safe environment

- Control food cost, quality, food hygiene, and work safety according to Disney's standards

- Prepare elaborate dishes for multiple locations

- Maintain kitchen equipment and manage utensils inventory

**Requirements**

- Understanding of HACCP, general food sanitation, and safety

- Experience leading and managing culinary staff in a concept operation

- High-quality, 4- and 5-star hotel and/or restaurant operations experience

- Creativity and good knowledge of food products and techniques

- Good organizational skills and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

- People leadership skills and ability to motivate teams to achieve high performance and standards

- Fluent English; Cantonese and Mandarin a plus

- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

- Familiarity with industry best practices
