You will join the Regional Business Finance team, which plays a crucial role in shaping how Grab accounts for its business activities, ensuring accurate and audit-ready numbers as the business innovates and scales.

As the Assistant Manager, Regional Business Finance (Deliveries Segment), you will combine technical accounting expertise with strong business partnering to keep the fast-growing Deliveries segment audit-ready.

Key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with product, operations, and commercial teams on upcoming projects to surface accounting implications and advise on operational processes

- Determining and leading the accounting treatment for new Deliveries product offerings and business plans in accordance with IFRS

- Overseeing the regional accounting framework for Deliveries products across SEA

- Identifying and fixing historical misalignments in revenue or cost accounting

- Overseeing the finance reporting process for the Deliveries business end-to-end

- Acting as the regional point of contact for group-level financial audit and SOX for the Deliveries portfolio

Essential skills required:

- Technical Accounting and Controls: 4-6 years of experience in controllership, technical accounting, or audit, with solid expertise in IFRS and internal controls

- Regional and Industry Expertise: Experience supporting multi-country operations and diverse business models, with exposure to digital platform and marketplace being advantageous

- Stakeholder Management and Influence: Ability to simplify complex accounting matters, influence cross-functional team partners, and lead alignment without direct authority

- Commercial Judgment and Execution: Ability to balance accounting stringency with business practicality, exercise proper judgment in uncertain situations, and independently manage different priorities and workstreams
