## Description

Join the BBC as a Post-Production Apprentice, a 16-month fixed-term role in London.

You'll support editing and preparation of content for BBC platforms, digitise and manage media assets, deliver transmission files, and develop teamwork and communication skills.

As an apprentice, you'll study for an industry-recognised qualification with the National Film and Television School, gaining skills in audio and vision engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, IP networks, and computer science.

The role involves working in fast-paced production environments, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to content creation.

**Responsibilities and Impact**

- Support content editing and preparation for various BBC platforms

- Digitise, organise, and manage media assets throughout production workflows

- Deliver transmission files to playout providers, ensuring content is ready for broadcast

- Develop strong teamwork and communication skills

- Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and technologies

**Your Skills and Eligibility** We're looking for someone passionate about media content and technical production.

**Eligibility Criteria**

- Be 18 years old or over by September 2027

- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years

- Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK

- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme

- Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area at the same or higher level
