## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their team in Hyderabad, India.

As a Software Engineer Intern at EA's Slingshot Studios, you will report to the Technical Director or Lead Engineer and participate in building new game features, working with designers and product managers to provide world-class experiences to players.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in building new game features

- Work with designers and product managers to provide world-class experiences to players

- Improve code for performance, focusing on reducing load times and improving frame rates

- Participate in code reviews and retrospectives to improve code bases and processes

- Participate in technical discussions to plan big tech-driven features and roadmap

- Write good documentation and follow coding standards

Qualifications:

- Solid foundation of data structures and algorithms

- Solid programming skills

- Ability to channel curiosity into targeted learning

- Creative problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with modern Agentic AI coding harnesses

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience making and playing games

- Proficiency in C++/C#/Java or PHP

- Proficiency in 3D Mathematics used in games

- Understanding of RESTful API
