## Description

We are seeking a Finance/Accounting Subject Matter Expert to help develop an Accounting Fundamentals series of video training courses. The successful candidate will provide specialized expertise and knowledge related to Accounting Fundamentals.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing lecture scripts

- Creating PowerPoint presentations with graphic assets

- Designing activities and assessment questions with feedback

The courses will cover topics such as:

- Basic Accounting Principles and Framework

- The Accounting Equation and Financial Statements

- The Accounting Cycle and Accrual Accounting

- Accounting Transactions and Books of Account

- Trial Balance & Adjusting Entries

- The Income Statement

- The Balance Sheet

- The Cash Flow Statement

- Accounting for Companies' Stock Transactions and Dividends

Qualifications:

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to work effectively within a group or individually

- Advanced organisational skills

- Understanding and familiarity with industry best practices

- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet established deadlines

- Advanced knowledge of industry specific technologies

- Industry specific certifications are highly desirable

Requirements:

- At least seven years of in-depth, progressively responsible and directly related experience in the specific subject area

- Minimum degree required: Bachelor's Degree
