## Description

The Finance Manager will lead a team within Finance Business Partnering, Financial Control, or Strategic Finance, supporting the business through policy development, planning, performance, service delivery, and governance.

The post holder will provide effective and timely financial and management reports, in line with business requirements and both statutory and regulatory duties.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing financial support and advice to management across the business, up to Board level

- Developing budget and savings proposals to inform negotiations on future budget delegations

- Championing financial awareness and financial management across the business area

- Managing projects, resources, programmes, planning activity, or campaigns

- Ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales/budgets and quality standards

The successful candidate will have:

- A part-qualified accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAI, ICAS, CIMA)

- Good technical knowledge of accounting processes, policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls

- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with experience of analysing and presenting financial information

The salary for this role is £57,687 per year, plus additional benefits including a Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £1,000 per annum.
