## Description

Anthropic's Editorial Publishing team is seeking a Technical Editor to write, edit, and review material about its AI systems, including model cards, risk reports, and safety reports. The ideal candidate will bring clarity and structure to complex writing and editing processes involving multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

- Write and edit technical public-facing reports and blogs for Anthropic

- Take pieces from inception to publication on short deadlines

- Solicit input from partner teams across Anthropic while preserving narrative clarity

Minimum qualifications:

- Strong alignment with Anthropic's mission and experience working in AI safety

- Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio of published work

- Familiarity with how frontier AI systems are trained, evaluated, and deployed

- A track record of shipping accurate, polished work on short deadlines

- Ability to work with subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and fact-check assertions

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience writing or editing safety or security reports

- Experience as a technical writer or editor at a technology company or research lab

- Comfort working in a content management system (CMS) and publishing web content

- Experience using AI tools like Claude to streamline editorial processes

The annual compensation range for this role is $265,000-$295,000 USD.
