## Description

HPE Data Centre Solutions (SEA) Business Development Lead is a hybrid role that requires working 2 days a week from an HPE office.

As a world-class trusted advisor, you will provide comprehensive solutions for IT sustainability and data center transformation to customers in Southeast Asia.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Data Center Solutions, HPE and partner products and solutions

- Partnering with the account team to build customer relationships and advocate technical strategies

- Participating in deep-dive discussions to articulate the value proposition and define key differentiators

- Leveraging knowledge of partner products to map the right partner to the right solution opportunity

- Conducting detailed site surveys and assessments to verify current state conditions

- Developing technical and commercial proposals using HPE standard processes and tools

- Coordinating with the Global Competency Center (GCC) and DCS subject matter experts and technical consultants

- Supporting the HPE delivery team during solution delivery

- Mentoring presales peers, account managers, and other partners on account, solution, and technological knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from a technical university

- 8-10 years of experience in the technology industry with a focus on technical consulting

- Demonstrated experience in data center facilities from business development, presales solution to project management

- Experience with the actual delivery of data center facilities projects

- Experience working in a large corporation and understanding of governance protocols (preferred)

- Data Center Facilities certification desirable – The Uptime Institute certification is an advantage

In terms of knowledge and skills, you will need:

- Deep technical understanding of data center solutions and knowledge of leading edge and emerging technologies

- Good knowledge of current trends, partner and competitor products and strategies within the data center domain

- Experience participating in solution configurations and overall architecture design for data centre power and cooling

- Expert knowledge of different types of partners and products

- Strong business and financial acumen

- Solid project management skills or experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Industry certifications in the data center domain strongly preferred

- Excellent consultative selling techniques and written and verbal communication skills
