## Description

We are seeking a Japanese IT Operation Support Engineer to join our team in Dalian, Liaoning, China. As a Japanese IT Operation Support Engineer, you will primarily work from an HPE office.

**Job Description:**

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT technical roles, such as system implementation, maintenance, and operations management

- Japanese communication skills sufficient for customer-facing interactions, including explaining technical matters during meetings

- Experience and capability in task management, cost management, and coaching/mentoring junior engineers (L2 and below)

- Proven experience creating operational documents and customer reports used by support and operations teams

- Ability to proactively plan, coordinate, and execute activities to resolve issues and drive outcomes

- Ability and willingness to continuously develop technical skills through training and hands-on experience

- Fundamental knowledge and practical experience with infrastructure technologies, including Servers, Networks, Storage, and Operating Systems

- Advanced technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Linux, Windows, or VMware

**Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Certifications:**

- Experience as a Team Lead, Sub-Lead, or Project Manager within an operations and support organization

- Experience leading the technical resolution of Major Incidents (P1/P2) and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

- Experience with Change Management and Problem Management processes

- ITIL Foundation certification and/or vendor certifications related to Operating Systems, Databases, or other infrastructure technologies

- Knowledge of operational tools, including ITSM platforms and monitoring tools

- Experience with operational automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

- Experience operating and supporting cloud platforms and services such as Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID

- Experience in customer-facing technical discussions, stakeholder management, and service improvement proposals

- English communication skills (spoken and written)

- Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity best practices
