## Description

We're seeking a Software Engineer to design and build Go services for our serverless platform, function deployment pipeline, and global control plane. You will own backend and control-plane software, create clean APIs, and build reliable workflows for deployments and observability. You will work with Kubernetes and help diagnose issues across the platform.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build Go services for serverless platform, function deployment pipeline, and global control plane

- Own backend and control-plane software, from customer-facing APIs to services that deploy and manage workloads across edge infrastructure

- Create clean APIs, sharp CLI, predictable behaviour, and useful error messages

- Build reliable workflows for deployments, configuration, storage, and observability

- Work with Kubernetes and runtime infrastructure through control plane

- Help diagnose latency, throughput, and reliability issues across platform

- Build tooling for safe operation at scale and participate in on-call for built systems

Requirements:

- 2–5 years of professional backend software development experience

- Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in comparable backend language (Rust, Java, C++) and interest in writing Go

- Solid distributed systems fundamentals

- Experience with relational databases, including schemas, transactions, and migrations

- Experience building asynchronous systems using queues, background jobs, state machines, or similar patterns

- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and interest in building software that deploys and manages workloads on Kubernetes-based infrastructure

- Experience running highly available services, including being on-call

Bonus points for:

- Experience building developer tools, platforms, control planes, runtimes, or products for developers

- Experience building software that interacts with Kubernetes

- Familiarity with serverless or edge-compute platforms

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
