## Description

We are seeking a Senior Physical Therapist to join our team at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will utilize your advanced education and training to provide individualized treatment for patients. You will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions on patients affected by injury or disease

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards

- Document patient information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans

- Educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises

- Demonstrate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of patients

- Maintain and further personal education and training to continue to be viewed as an expert in the field

Requirements:

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Minimum of two years of Physical Therapy experience or have graduated from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) residency program and have passed the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) board exam

- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
