## Description

We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real-world issues on a cross-functional, fast-paced team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

- Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.

- Design and define network architecture for new or existing computer systems.

- Perform complex network development and design work.

- Participate in the upgrading of operating systems and design of network enhancements.

- Provide input for documentation on new or existing networks.

- Develop and conduct tests to ensure networks meet documented user requirements.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve network problems.

- Provide network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.

- Determine network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of network engineers and administrators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Collaborate with senior management and other teams to understand business objectives and develop network strategies that align with organizational goals.

- Lead and delegate troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid incident response.

**Required Qualifications:**

- 10+ years of related Network Engineering experience.

- Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

- BA/BS degree.

- Must possess a completed CCNA certification.

- Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).

- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Multicast, DMVPN, and GRE tunnels.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- JNCIA-JUNOS/JNCIS-SP preferred.

- Knowledge and experience with VoIP/collaboration systems, HAIPE-based encryption devices, Virtualization technologies, and data center networking.

- Experience with firewalls and firewall rule sets.
