As a Mission Software Engineer on the Air and Ground Deterrence team, you will solve a wide variety of user-facing and system-level problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Owning feature development and rollout for our products

- Developing extendable solutions for complex mission sets

- Building micro-services to extend the capabilities of our user interface

- Writing code to improve products and scale the mission capability to more customers

- Troubleshooting and resolving user-facing issues in a timely manner

- Participating in the full SDLC from concept and design through testing and deployment

- Traveling up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world

The ideal candidate will have:

- A strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Robotics

- 7+ years of experience building React applications

- 7+ years of experience building tools and platforms using Go and other cloud-native technologies

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
