## Description

We're looking for a skilled Shift Fitter to join our team at Poplars AD Plant in Norton Canes, Staffordshire.

As a Shift Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in keeping our anaerobic digestion facility running safely, efficiently, and reliably through proactive maintenance and rapid fault response.

Your core responsibilities include:

- Delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the plant

- Diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs

- Supporting installation work and equipment improvements

- Driving plant reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement

- Working closely with operations teams to minimise downtime

- Coordinating specialist maintenance activities with contractors

- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

- Supporting preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis

The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Experience working in a fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water, or industrial environment

- Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles

- Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns

- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification preferred
