## Compensation

The salary range for this role is $384,674 – $460,000, with additional compensation options such as equity and bonus.

## How you'll make impact

As Head of Engineering, Payments Platform, you will lead the development and operation of critical components of Airwallex's Payments Platform. This involves:

- Owning the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Payments Platform

- Leading and growing a high-performing engineering organization

- Providing architectural direction for high-volume, mission-critical payment systems

- Driving execution across multiple concurrent initiatives

- Partnering with various teams to ensure platform capabilities support business growth and regulatory requirements

## What we're looking for

### Essentials

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles

- Demonstrated experience in people management and building high-performing teams

- Strong product thinking and ability to partner with Product Management

- Deep technical fluency in software architecture and system design

- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments

- Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or a similarly regulated industry
