## Description

MongoDB's Global payroll department is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist, EMEA Payroll to join its team. The successful candidate will report to the Payroll Manager and work closely with Accounting, HR, and Benefits teams.

The Senior Specialist, EMEA Payroll will be responsible for coordinating all payroll cycles and associated tasks, evaluating and improving processes, and collaborating across functions to enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing various payroll functions, including preparation, distribution, and reporting, while ensuring regulatory compliance

- Ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries

- Auditing payroll data to guarantee accurate wage processing, garnishment, tax withholding, and deductions

- Providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding pay, deductions, or payroll processes

- Assisting with payroll-related audits and SOX compliance, maintaining documentation, and offering recommendations

- Processing year-end activities for EMEA countries, including filings, remittances, and returns with tax authorities

- Participating in special projects, such as workflow documentation, process improvements, and system upgrades

- Supporting the Payroll and Equity teams with equity transaction processing and recording

- Documenting payroll processes and suggesting best practices

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll, payroll tax rules, and regulations

- Experience with payroll systems and reporting functions, particularly ADP and SuccessFactors

- At least 5 years of payroll experience in a multinational company

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Fluency in French or Italian, both written and spoken

- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service
