## Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance professional to join our team in Frankfurt as a Director. You will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of complex project finance transactions across the infrastructure and energy sectors.

## Key Responsibilities

- Lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of energy and infrastructure finance transactions, assessing commercial viability, risk profile, and profitability.

- Manage all aspects of transaction due diligence, including technical and commercial assessment, industry analysis, and the development of risk mitigation strategies.

- Lead the structuring of financing solutions, oversee cash flow modelling and sensitivity analysis, and negotiate financing term sheets and loan documentation.

- Drive the preparation of client marketing materials and transaction presentations, develop innovative financing solutions and capital structures, and support the continued growth of the Project Finance franchise.

- Manage transactions throughout their lifecycle, including covenant compliance monitoring, the assessment of evolving credit risks, and the evaluation and negotiation of credit-relevant amendments and waivers requests.

- Monitor trends across the infrastructure and energy sectors, contribute to Deutsche Bank's sustainability and ESG objectives, and provide coaching and mentorship to junior members of the team.

## Requirements

- 10-12+ years of project finance experience across infrastructure, energy, and renewable sectors, including a proven track record in originating and executing financing transactions.

- Extensive experience in transaction structuring, due diligence, financial modelling, credit risk assessment and mitigation, and the negotiation of term sheets and finance documentation.

- Strong knowledge of project finance markets across the EMEA region, with exposure to both corporate and sponsor-backed transactions.

- Solid background in banking, preferably within project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance, supported by strong capital markets, accounting, and cash-flow analysis expertise.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage senior management, clients, and stakeholders; additional European languages, particularly German, French, Spanish, or Italian, would be advantageous.
