## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Wingham Court Care Home, part of Bupa. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and ensuring our residents receive excellent care and service.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents

- Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining cleanliness in preparation areas

- Monitor stock rotation and adhere to company policies and procedures, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines

- Help with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience working in a kitchen

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

- Passion for food and delivering excellent service

- Ability to communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams
