## Description

Adyen is seeking a Senior Optimization Data Analyst to drive payment performance for its most complex merchants. As a senior member of the Performance Optimization team, you will bring expertise in authentication, authorization, and cost, with a focus on risk, fraud, and ML-driven decisioning. You will work with large-scale transactional data to generate insights that connect to merchant strategy, collaborating with product teams to drive product improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Lead complex merchant engagements in risk, fraud, and ML optimization

- Analyze large-scale risk model data to generate insights and detect performance patterns

- Collaborate with product teams to contribute structured insights and inform product priorities

- Drive analytical excellence and methodology ownership in the risk and fraud domain

- Lead automation initiatives to expand PO's reach

- Develop playbooks and reference frameworks for knowledge transfer

- Maintain a forward-looking perspective on emerging optimization domains

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, risk, or fraud optimization

- Deep expertise in risk and fraud analytics, including hands-on experience with ML-based decisioning systems

- Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark

- Strong experience with data visualization and self-service analytics tools

- Deep understanding of statistical methods and big data technologies

Total rewards & compensation:

- Annual base salary range: $154,000 - $200,000

- Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more
