## Description

We are seeking a Core Calibration Engineer to develop and maintain baseline ECU strategy calibrations for gasoline and diesel engines. You will ensure consistency and reusability of calibrations across different vehicles and derivatives, define and update default parameters for key functions, perform engine and vehicle bench tests to validate calibrations, evaluate performance under standard conditions, and participate in technical meetings and validation reviews.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain baseline ECU strategy calibrations for gasoline and diesel engines.

- Ensure consistency and reusability of calibrations across different vehicles and derivatives.

- Define and update default parameters for all key functions, including air and fuel management, ignition and injection, torque control and engine dynamics, OBD diagnostic strategies, and thermal management and emissions.

- Perform engine and vehicle bench tests to validate calibrations.

- Evaluate performance under standard conditions, such as temperature, altitude, and fuels.

- Ensure robustness across the entire usage range.

- Participate in technical meetings and validation reviews.

- Utilize and interpret test data using tools like INCA, MDA, and Matlab.

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or Master's in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Powertrain, or Automotive Engineering.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in engine calibration.

- Fluent in French and technical English.

- Strong knowledge of engine management systems and control laws.

- Proficiency with calibration and measurement tools, such as INCA, MDA, CANape, and AVL CRETA.

- Understanding of OBD strategies, emissions, and regulations, such as Euro 6/7, EPA, and CARB.

- Knowledge of engine thermodynamics, combustion, and forced induction.

- Familiarity with homologation cycles and international constraints.
