## Description

GDIT is seeking an experienced IEC Systems Engineer with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to join their team in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO. The successful candidate will support their Intelligence customer and work on a complex program requiring strategic thinking about technology and business.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with Senior Engineering and Project Integration staff to assess, document, and track program requirements

- Develop artifacts, architectural documentation, and integrate various sources into a cohesive product

- Support integration and testing of hardware/software systems

- Work with engineers across multiple contracts to produce architecture artifacts

- Monitor service line communication channels for immediate needs

- Support comprehensive solutions development by leveraging subject matter experts

- Manage assigned service tickets and coordinate closure as needed

**Requirements:**

- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

- 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting complex, multi-site enterprise scale environments

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Experience writing detailed, technical documentation

- IAT Level II certification required

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Accountability, ownership, and a drive for continuous improvement

- Experience with IT project integration, including presenting to internal & external leadership, running project control gates, and collaborating with different service lanes

- Data flow validation and interface management

- Producing technical diagrams with Microsoft Visio

- Using project tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, KanBan Boards

- Adept at learning and applying new technologies

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills
