## Description

ICON is seeking a Lab Analyst I to join their bioanalytical laboratory team in Lenexa, KS. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate development, validation, and use of analytical methods.

Responsibilities:

- Routine sample processing with different techniques

- Interpreting and data processing/reporting results and approving or rejecting sample analysis

- Identifying deviations and performing investigations under supervision

- Performing peer data review for quality control

- Complying with GxP and other relevant regulations

- Identifying and reporting irregularities

- Economically utilizing materials in daily tasks

- Ensuring on-time task completion to support study goals

- Assisting in laboratory organization and housekeeping

Additional responsibilities based on experience:

- Comprehensive sample processing with different techniques

- Instrument management and troubleshooting

- Taking initiative in process development and writing SOPs

- Solving problems in analysis processes

- Preserving an overview of method validation and analysis

- Keeping current with knowledge in the analysis field

Requirements:

- Good knowledge of bioanalytical laboratory processes

- Detail-oriented with few mistakes in routine tasks

- Ability to apply processes and systems to sample processing and instrumental analysis

- Laboratory education and science degree

- Good laboratory skills and understanding of basic analytical processes

- Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment (GxP) handling biological samples highly preferred
