## Description

We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our team. As a Finance Intern, you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

**Job Description:**

The Finance Intern will partner with businesses to ensure that capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. The intern will gather financial data, perform financial analyses and reporting, and influence decisions within the business.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide financial analysis for a function or business

- Perform data extraction and analyze data to make recommendations

- Handle financial business issues

- Provide analytics to business initiatives

- Develop an understanding of the company's financial processes and a working knowledge of the business

**Education and Experience Required:**

- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience

- Typically 0+ years of experience as a financial analyst

**Knowledge and Skills:**

- Basic understanding of accounting processes

- Basic analytical skills

- Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)

- Good communication skills

- Good teamwork skills
