## Description

WSP is seeking an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer for their Saint Louis, MO office to join their Power Delivery Substation Team.

The successful candidate will be involved in designing low to extra-high voltage substations, performing tasks such as creating one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, station physical layouts, sections/elevations, cable and conduit plans, ground grid design, foundation plans, structural plans, control enclosure design, lightning protection plans, yard lighting plans, and bills of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop detailed substation plans and specifications

- Support QA/QC for client deliverables

- Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies

- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients

- Perform additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

- BSEE or BSEET degree from an accredited university

- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles

- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant electrical engineering experience (at least 3 months)

- Minimum 3.0 GPA

- Familiarity with electrical utility substations and substation design

- Engineer In Training certificate or passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam
