## Description

We are seeking a proactive Environmental Operative to deliver cleaning services to client facilities in and around Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Cleaning floors in building reception areas, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass doors/windows

- Cleaning stainless-steel fixtures and barriers/glass door panels, and dry mopping black marble pillars

- Cleaning and sanitizing lifts, wiping down external and internal stainless-steel on lift doors/frames/lift runners, and removing smudges from mirrors

- Cleaning restrooms/showers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, and sweeping and mopping tile floors

- Setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies

- Monitoring and maintaining sanitation and organization of assigned areas

- Assisting team leaders/supervisors when needed to ensure optimum service to clients

- Performing additional duties as needed, within reason

- Complying with monthly training sessions delivered by the supervisor/line manager as necessary

Requirements:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Clean UK Driver's License

- Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritize tasks

- Ability to work alone and as part of a team

- Approachable and courteous manner

- Desire to work in an adult services environment

- Understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building
