## Description

We are seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Southend Private Hospital, a leading private hospital in the UK. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, providing cover for existing staff during busy periods and annual leave.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Performing and interpreting a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring

- Carrying out and reporting on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments

- Undertaking and interpreting echocardiograms (transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echo, if appropriately trained)

- Assisting in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies

- Monitoring and recording intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures

- Providing technical support during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

- Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice

- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations

- A degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics

- Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £65.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
