## Description

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology team at McKay-Dee Hospital.

As a professional caregiver, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.

**Essential Functions:**

- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as needed.

- Plan individualised care with input from patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

- Implement care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed.

- Promote the nursing profession and participate in the development of others.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- Current RN licence in the state of practice.

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of hire.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ongoing need to see, read, and communicate effectively.

- Frequent interactions with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment.

- Ability to lift, transfer, and ambulate patients.
