## Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality technology solutions within the accounting domain. You will be a hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, code reviews, coding, and release activities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, tribe leads, product owners, and lead architects to deliver business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Define system design, choose appropriate technologies, and establish scalable, secure, and reliable architectural patterns.

- Write critical code and set high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation through robust code reviews.

- Coach junior and mid-level developers, foster their career growth, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.

- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for product, design, and executive stakeholders.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 15 years of IT industry experience in full-stack development.

- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, ORACLE, PL/SQL, Cloud Native Architecture, and Design Patterns.

- Experience in big data processing – Apache Spark, Hadoop, MongoDB is a plus.

- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, OpenShift container platform.

- Experience in message queues (RabbitMQ/IBM MQ, JMS) and data streaming (Kafka, Pub-sub, etc.).

- Experience working on public cloud – GCP preferred, AWS or Azure.

- Knowledge of various distributed/multi-tiered architecture styles – Micro-services, Data mesh, Integration patterns, etc.

- Knowledge of SRE with Change Management, Incident Management, and Production Operations.

- Experience designing solutions that can handle large-scale operations.

- Focus on quality – experience with TDD, BDD, Stress, and Contract Tests.

- Proficient in working with APIs and understanding data formats like JSON, XML, YAML, Parquet, etc.

- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
