## Description

We're on a mission to make money work for everyone.

As Data Director for EU expansion, you'll lead the Data team and shape our product strategy as we grow, deciding where we place our bets, working out what to measure before there's a playbook, and making sure each new market learns fast enough to compound into the next.

You'll work closely with EU leadership and Monzo's global Leadership team, sitting on the EU Tech Leadership team and helping shape our global data strategy.

Key responsibilities:

- Own the full learning loop that EU expansion runs on

- Co-own the product development loop alongside EU Leadership, Product, and Engineering

- Set the data strategy for EU and stand up the foundations each new market needs

- Lead the goal-setting process for EU Expansion

- Represent Data directly at the ExCo level

- Build, grow, and retain a high-performing, full-stack Data team

Requirements:

- Strategic data leader with Director-level experience or above

- Experience operating in zero-to-one ambiguity, building or scaling a data function in a new market

- Comfortable moving from detailed metrics and data architecture to customer strategy, commercial outcomes, and product-market fit

- Experience leading company-wide or division-wide goal-setting, defining high-clarity metrics, setting targets, and partnering closely with Finance

- Empathetic people leader with experience growing full-stack Data teams
