## Description

CoreWeave is looking for a Data Center Technician to join their team in Kenilworth, NJ. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of CoreWeave's data center environments.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability

- Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs

- Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures

- Train internal teams

- Develop documentation

- Provide technical support to data center teams

- Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware

- Maintain inventory

- Assemble and install equipment

- Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment

- Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs

- Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call

Requirements:

- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly

- Experience working with Linux operating systems

- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing diagnostic and repair tasks

- Ability to maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces, including under-floor areas or on ladders, to access server racks

- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, including handling small hardware components and cables

- Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including participation in a rotating on-call shift

- Experience in data center environments

- Experience with computer networking

- Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages

- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS

- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
