## Description

WSP is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee road, bridge, or associated construction projects with values ranging from $1-$50 million. The successful candidate will be based in Portland, Augusta, or Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH.

The Construction Inspector will be responsible for:

- Interfacing with contractors' supervisors to determine and monitor daily work

- Completing daily reports, measuring, and calculating unit price quantities

- Coordinating independent material sampling and testing

- Monitoring maintenance of traffic

- Taking and compiling photographs to track daily progress

- Updating red-line drawings using Bluebeam

Requirements include:

- High school diploma

- 5 years of applicable experience

- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to learn how to read plans and specifications

- Valid driver's license

- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety

Preferred qualifications:

- Associate of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite

- Experience with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD, or similar systems

- Knowledge of Bluebeam

- ACI, NETTCP certification or ability to attain within 3 months of hiring
