## Description

A Support Engineer at Palantir takes real pride in our internal ecosystem, from individual workstations to conference rooms to the systems employees rely on every day. They're the person people turn to when something isn't working, whether they're at their desk, travelling, or preparing for an important meeting.

Their responsibilities include delivering white-glove IT support to executives and VIP users, developing a deep familiarity with their workflows and technology preferences. They also proactively reach out during critical patching windows, major rollouts, and high-visibility events to ensure zero disruption.

In addition, they have an intimate understanding of all office hardware, including printers, video conferencing equipment, and FOB office environments. They proactively replace ageing hardware, maintain core VTC equipment, and manage the printer fleet end-to-end.

They also initiate tracking of potential business-blocking issues and partner with engineering teams to drive to full resolution. They go beyond the quick fix – conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing solutions that prevent recurrence.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in desktop or help desk support in a fast-paced environment. They have a willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and ability to travel up to 30% of the time. They have deep knowledge of Windows and macOS operating environments and common networking fundamentals.
