## Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Cook to join our friendly hospitality team at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. As a Hospital Cook, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class dining experience for our patients, staff and visitors. You will prepare and present nutritious, high-quality meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

- Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for patients, staff and visitors

- Supporting the delivery of specialist dietary requirements and nutritional needs

- Maintaining excellent standards of food presentation and service

- Ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety procedures

- Assisting with stock control, deliveries and kitchen administration

- Supporting catering for meetings and special events

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment

- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a busy catering, hospitality or healthcare environment

- Experience preparing meals for large numbers of people

- A Level 3 Food Safety qualification

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A positive and flexible approach

- The ability to work effectively under pressure

- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene
