## Description

WSP Civil & Bridge Engineering team is seeking an Associate Technical Director - Bridges to join their established team working on large-scale projects in Noida, Bengaluru, or Mumbai.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a team to deliver challenging projects with desired quality and within agreed time schedules.

## Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and deliver complex and larger projects, taking accountability for their delivery.

- Drive and improve levels of professional qualification and membership with relevant bodies within the UK Civil GCC.

- Create and support innovation, providing clarity and direction for staff on technical issues.

- Have some line management responsibilities as required.

- Inspire and motivate staff towards technical progression and excellence.

- Build an inclusive staff culture.

- Promote collaboration across the wider WSP business.

## Requirements

- Professional Chartership with a relevant body or equivalent, such as IStructE or ICE.

- Proven working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW) in relation to structural schemes.

- Experience with Grillage, Space Frame, and FEM analysis software packages like LUSAS, MIDAS, etc.

- Effective communication, client handling, and interpersonal skills are essential.

- Experience in designing or assessing steel, reinforced, and pre-stressed concrete structures according to Euro and BS codes.

## Qualifications

- Master's in Structural Engineering (preferable).

- Professional Qualification CEng MIStructE or MICE.

- 16-25 years of experience.

## Background Verification

Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
