## Description

WSP is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer for our New York, NY office. You will be involved in projects with our Property and Buildings Team, providing technical support for the analysis, design, and construction of building structures across various projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with structural design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems

- Developing structural models and engineering calculations using industry-standard software

- Preparing construction documents and technical reports

- Supporting construction administration activities

- Collaborating with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline

- 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience

- Knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and processes

- Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and tools

- Experience with discipline-specific design software (e.g., SAFE, ETABS, RAM Structural Systems, Sp Column, AutoCAD, Revit)
