## Description

Diageo is seeking a Senior Executive - Export [Logistics Planner] to plan and execute end-to-end export logistics operations for alcoholic beverages.

The role involves coordinating with manufacturing units, transporters, freight forwarders, and Customs House Agents (CHA) to ensure timely gate-in, cost optimization, vendor management, and productivity improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing end-to-end export logistics, including factory dispatch, port movement, and shipment handover

- Ensuring timely vehicle placement in line with production and shipment schedules

- Monitoring gate-in timelines at ports/ICDs to adhere to vessel cut-offs and avoid detention costs

- Coordinating production plans with vessel availability and export demand

- Overseeing preparation and accuracy of export documentation

- Coordinating with freight forwarders, transporters, and CHAs for smooth customs clearance and shipment execution

- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including DGFT regulations, Foreign Trade Policy, and Customs requirements

- Managing transporter, CHA, and freight forwarder performance against service-level agreements (SLAs)

- Driving productivity improvements and logistics cost savings through route optimization, rate negotiations, and process improvements

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in export logistics within the alco-bev, FMCG, or regulated manufacturing industries, with a graduate/postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
