## Description

This role provides analytical support for the Second Line oversight of Buy Now Pay Later products, focusing on underwriting and account management practices. You will develop and implement advanced data science models, collaborate with stakeholders, drive best practices in data science, and ensure data quality.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

- Lead development and implementation of advanced data science models and algorithms.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Drive best practices in data science and ensure data quality and integrity.

- Mentor and guide junior data scientists.

- Stay updated with the latest trends in data science.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, engineering).

- 3+ years of experience in credit risk management/lending.

- Strong analytical skills with ability to work with data and identify patterns.

- Experience with Python, SQL, or other statistical analysis tools.

- Understanding of second line of defense functions and merchant or small business lending environments.

**Pay Information:**

- The base pay for this role will depend on location and experience. The expected range is $130,500.00 - $193,600.00 annually.
