## Description

Join LSEG's Global Development Team and build technology that powers the world's leading banks. You'll work on the FX Trading Aggregator, a critical platform that enables flawless access to liquidity for top banks and traders worldwide.

Your Impact: You'll provide end-to-end support for the Aggregator application, from build and development to maintenance and production solving.

Responsibilities:

- Strong software engineering experience with two languages out of three - Java, C++, and/or Rust

- AI-first mindset with ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools

- Solid understanding of software design, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems concepts

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

- Good Linux knowledge, including troubleshooting, scripting, and system operations

- Ability to design, build, and support highly available, scalable, and performant applications

- Experience troubleshooting production issues and willingness to participate in production support and incident resolution

- Ownership mentality with a pragmatic and problem-solving approach

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Team leadership and mentoring abilities

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with event-driven systems and distributed architecture

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments

- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation

- Understanding of UDP multicast to build low latency systems

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Solace, Tibco, or RabbitMQ

- Understanding of low-latency and high-performance systems

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices

- Financial services, trading, or market connectivity experience
