## Description

Working as a Target Security Specialist means helping create a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. You will be part of the Assets Protection team, which focuses on preventing and resolving theft and fraud, as well as promoting a physical security culture throughout the store.

Your role will involve:

- Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues promptly

- Actively supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude

- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Promoting a physical security culture for team members and guests by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store

- Responding to and accurately documenting security incidents in a timely manner

- Leveraging de-escalation tactics and resources when responding to security incidents across the store

- Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support as needed

- Preventing theft and shortage at the front of store by performing merchandise receipt checks

- Submitting appropriate documentation in the case management system for all incidents

- Meet the basic requirements of being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and meeting any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
