## Description

As an Optical Manager at Asda, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of customers through excellent service and clinical care.

You will oversee and manage the entire optical operation, including managing a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, compliance processes, sales forecasting, department targets, and customer queries.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the team and ensuring they have everything needed to deliver high-quality patient service

- Overseeing compliance processes and procedures

- Reviewing sales forecasting and department targets

- Dealing with customer queries

- Clinic management and managing the shop floor process

- Coaching and developing the team in close partnership with an Optometrist

Requirements:

- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC

- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD

- Confident in coaching others

- Excellent customer and patient care skills

- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment

- Organised and able to manage time effectively
