## Description

Adyen is seeking an Optimization Data Analyst to join their Optimization Data Analytics team.

The ideal candidate is someone who can approach complex problems in a structured manner, convert results into actionable stories, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll do**

- Framework Development: Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to develop scalable frameworks for evaluating large datasets.

- Data Analysis: Determine necessary data to solve business problems, extract data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations.

- Be a Subject Matter Expert: Act as Adyen's SME for merchants and internal stakeholders on payment optimization.

- Data Strategy: Shape the next generation of BI and data infrastructure, build self-service tools, and contribute to automation projects.

- Storytelling: Turn findings into effective communication and concise advice by connecting data to a story.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Account Managers, Product teams, and other analysts to align on data best practices and priorities.

- Technical Contributions: Write complex Python/SQL queries, perform robust data manipulations, and utilize advanced statistical techniques.

**Who you are**

- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Data & Analytics.

- Excellent analytical and data wrangling skills, with advanced proficiency in PySpark/Python.

- Experience using descriptive and inferential statistics.

- Expertise in leveraging data to uncover meaningful insights and craft compelling data stories.

- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).

- Familiarity with Big Data tools and platforms (e.g., Spark, Airflow).

- Ability to design and develop efficient ETLs and data pipelines.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
