## Description

We are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Potters Bar Clinic. As a leader in Occupational Therapy services, you will manage and develop the service, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions that promote independence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the delivery of individual and group interventions

- Overseeing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans

- Ensuring Occupational Therapy services are responsive to evolving user needs

- Providing leadership, supervision, and support to Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and students

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure high-quality therapeutic support

Requirements:

- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy

- Full Royal College of Occupational Therapists membership

- Active HCPC registration

- At least 3 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a specialised area (CAMHS services, Mental Health/PD services)

- Confidence and competence in assessing patients with various psychometrics and risk assessment tools

- Ability to work therapeutically, engaging patients in developing insight and coping skills

- Good communication skills, both written and oral

- Sound, up-to-date awareness of legislation and its implications for the profession
